Wilri has indeed married her high school sweetheart, Allan. I can only imagine the sort of concern/advice/worry she must have received when she announced their engagement.. and I love her for it. There are all types of love, the type of love that hits you hard, the type that you feel after meeting a perfect stranger. Or the kind you find after years of friendship and there it is in your best friend.
I love the softness and warmth of these photographs. Wilri and Allan married last year August. Funny how you can tell these picture's were not taken during the summer months.. As I am typing this evening’s blog, my ipod whistles melodies for Café del Mar. I can’t help feeling nostalgic. I have a secret love for poetry, especially WW2 poetry. I.
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,

The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
